Scientific research
The Nanomaterials and Innovative Hydrogen Technologies Research Group specializes in:
- Design and synthesis of catalysts (hybrid, composite, transition metal oxides, heteroatom-doped carbons) for the water electrolysis process (green hydrogen production);
- Design and synthesis of carbon nanocomposites with hierarchical porosity;
- Functionalization of three-dimensional graphene materials for electrochemical applications;
- Design and synthesis of perovskite-type structures for fuel cell applications.
Material Characterization Performed by Our Team:
- Physicochemical analysis of materials using the following methods: XRD, XPS, elemental analysis, Raman spectroscopy, low-temperature sorption of nitrogen (specific surface area, pore volume, pore size distribution), and microscopic imaging (SEM, TEM, SEM-EDX);
- Electrochemical studies (CV, LSV, EIS, stability tests);
- Photoelectrochemical tests for catalysts.
